The Pathum Thani Highway District is a unit under the Highway Office 13 (Bangkok), Department of Highways, Ministry of Transport. It is a central government administrative unit located in the province of Pathum Thani and oversees 5 highway maintenance divisions, namely:

1.Rangsit Highway Section
2.Pathum Thani Highway Section
3.Thanyaburi Highway Section
4.Lat Lum Kaeo Highway Section
5.Nuankhachon Highway Section

Background

• Originally named Pathum Thani Highway District, it was established in 1983 under the jurisdiction of Highway Office 11 (now Highway Office 13). It was located at Highway No. 1, Phahonyothin Road, section Khlong Luang Interchange – Pratu Nam Phra In, Km. 47+200, left side, Khlong Nueng Subdistrict, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province. It occupied an area of ​​90 rai, 2 ngan, and 69 square wah, which was donated to the Department of Highways by Khunying Somjeen Khueanphetsena (Somjeen Unhanan).
• Later, in 2015, the Pathum Thani Highway District was renamed the Pathum Thani Highway District, according to the Department of Highways Order No. J.1.9/7/2558 dated February 26, 2015, for the benefit of the government and to ensure continuous, efficient, and effective administration. Therefore, the highway district was designated according to the Ministry of Transport's announcement.
